A heat sealing four-side sealing packaging machine is specialized equipment used to create fully enclosed, flat pouches sealed on all four sides. It is commonly applied in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries for packaging powders, granules, liquids, and small solid products. The machine combines automatic film handling, product dosing, forming, sealing, and cutting into a continuous, efficient process.The system typically uses roll film as the packaging material, such as laminated plastic, aluminum-plastic composite, or other heat‑seal films. The film is unwound from the roll and guided through a series of rollers to maintain proper tension and alignment. It is then folded or split and shaped into two layers that will form the front and back of the pouch. Registration marks printed on the film can be detected by photoelectric sensors, ensuring accurate positioning of graphics and text on each finished bag.A key feature of the machine is its heat sealing mechanism. Heating elements, combined with pressure bars, create seals along the top, bottom, and both side edges of the pouch. Temperature, pressure, and sealing time can be precisely adjusted on the control panel to match different materials and product requirements. Proper parameter settings are essential to achieve strong, airtight seals without damaging the film. Many models use separate sealing stations for longitudinal (vertical) and transverse (horizontal) seals to improve sealing quality and speed.Product dosing is performed by integrated filling systems that can be selected according to the product type. For powders and granules, auger fillers or volumetric cup fillers are commonly used. For liquids and pastes, piston or pump fillers provide accurate, drip‑free filling. Tablets, capsules, and small solid items may be dosed by counting or weighing devices. The dosing unit is synchronized with the film feeding system so that product is dispensed into each pouch at the correct moment.Automation and control are important aspects of a modern four-side sealing machine. Programmable logic controllers and touch screen interfaces allow operators to set parameters, monitor performance, and store recipes for different products and bag sizes. Safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, overload protection, and guarding around moving parts help ensure safe operation. Error alarms and automatic shutdown functions can be triggered by film breakage, low product levels, or abnormal temperatures.The finished pouches are cut apart by a cutting system that follows the sealing station. Cutting tools may be straight or shaped, producing neat edges and a uniform appearance. Optional devices, such as tear notches, hanging holes, code printers, and embossing units, can be added to enhance functionality and branding. The result is a flat, four‑side sealed package with a clean look, strong barrier properties, and good shelf presentation, suitable for both single‑use sachets and multi‑pack arrangements.
